Dry shampoo

Sometimes you might not have time to wash your hair or you may want a quick break from shampooing it. But, you also probably don’t want it to look greasy.

So, how do you fix that issue?

What works great for me is using dry shampoo. It’s a powder that soaks up the excess oil in your hair, giving it a cleaner and fresher appearance without the need to get it wet.

My hair type is thin and oily. These brands work well for me:

  • Batiste Heavenly Volume

The Batiste range is my personal favourite as it’s on the cheaper side and very effective. I love this particular dry shampoo because as well as making my hair feel instantly refreshed, it significantly gives it an uplifting volume.

  • Schwarzkopf got2b fresh and fabulous

What stands out about this product is its perfume, mixture of tropical fruits like fragrance that it leaves on my hair. Plus, it adds volume and does its primary function of making it look fresh.

  • Klorane Oat Tinted Dry Shampoo

Its active ingredient is Oat Milk, which soothes hair and has a high absorbent power. The highlight of this product is that it has a very light feel on the hair, making it soft. Additionally, it blends so well that it leaves an invisible finish.

How to use a dry shampoo:

1. Shake well and spray it onto your roots.

2. Massage thoroughly with fingertips to ensure that your roots are fully covered

3. Rub until it isn’t visible and brush through to remove the excess remainder.

Following these three steps, your hair will be ready for styling.
